iBot4CRMs
Scalable solutions for CRMs recovery and recycling
iBot4CRMs is developing integrated AI-powered robotic systems to maximize the recovery and recycling of critical raw materials from urban waste.
Its consortium of partners will test and validate solutions through seven scenarios conducted across four large-scale pilot sites in Turkey (Volt WEG Group), Greece (E.K.AN.), Spain (Ferimet) and Portugal (Valorsul).

In-Soil
Toxicity effects assessment of plastic litter buried in soil
The project will analyze layers of polluted soil at the plastic polluted Lisle Lyngøyna island, Hordaland. The area is being characterized by an ongoing HMF project and as such represents a unique field “open lab” where a large amount of stranded marine litter has been buried in time and several ecological processes can be followed and studied including plastic fragmentation, release of plastic adsorbed chemicals and plastic’s interaction with flora and fauna.
There is rising concern about plastic litter accumulation in the environment. The knowledge about the biological effects to organisms of the marine coastal, freshwater and terrestrial environments is still fragmented and misinterpreted by the results of unrealistic exposure studies.

ISORtx
ISORTx: Spectral imaging-based machine vision for intelligent automated sorting and disassembly of textile waste
This regional collaborative project will contribute to restructuring of the textile waste value chain through collaboration between academia, industrial and public sector companies towards green growth and circular economy transition. Building upon the competence on enabling technologies already well established in Agder (sensor technology, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, robotics), the project will adress research challenges related to securing continuous and high-quality polyester textile waste stream for the future chemical recycling business.

E-OILÉ
From Lab to Market: Scaling Sustainable Packaging Solutions
Real-World Testing
Through real-world testing in four use cases—olive oil, oily sauces, body oil, and facial serum — E-OilÉ will demonstrate scalable solutions at Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7*). The project also integrates life cycle assessment (LCA), Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles, and stakeholder engagement to ensure environmental, economic, and social sustainability.

RHINOCEROS

MILJØ NORGE
Self-developed automated production line
Reuse of fire extinguishers
Miljø Norge has developed a circular business model, where reuse replaces consumption. We have taken a linear process and developed a circular solution for the reuse of fire extinguishers. Our automated production line performs service on fire extinguishers according to NS 3910, with a far higher traceability, accuracy and quality.
